Born in Vancouver and raised in Kamloops, Bryan graduated from Thompson Rivers University and is a skilled Red Seal Carpenter and proud Skills Canada award winner.
Bryan is the founder and CEO of Interior Elite Contracting, having established the company in 2014 when it was just him working out of the back of his truck. Armed with his knowledge as a Red Seal Carpenter and leveraging his exceptional communication and leadership skills, Bryan has grown Interior Elite Contracting from a general contracting firm to a comprehensive service provider, offering drafting, design, and interior design services in both the public and private sectors. Originally known for excellence in constructing custom single-family homes and executing complex renovations in Kamloops and the BC Interior, Bryan has successfully led Interior Elite Contracting into the commercial sector over the past two years and hopes to continue building on this success as Interior Elite Contracting celebrates 10 years in business in 2024.
Outside of work, Bryan enjoys quality time with his family, indulging in outdoor activities such as camping, snowboarding, hunting, and fishing, reflecting his passion for both work and life beyond the construction site.
Bethany was born and raised in Kamloops, BC. Upon finishing high school, she chose to stay in the community that she shares such a strong connection with. As the Events Manager at Nature’s Fare Market for a decade, Beth has a strong vision for growth and is always excited to see projects reach their potential.
As an owner and Chief Administrative Officer at Elite Contracting, Beth manages the day to day administration of the company, from personnel issues to engaging with suppliers, contractors, and designers. Collaborating with these partners is definitely Bethany’s favourite part of her role — as a solutions oriented person, she loves ensuring all is in place for a successful outcome.
When not busy raising two young children, Beth keeps close contact with her extended family and friends, enjoys keeping active and works on her own personal projects.
A Kamloops
native and graduate of Thompson Rivers University, James holds a diploma in
computer systems operations and management, along with being a licensed home
builder. As owner and COO, James oversees the commercial construction side of
Interior Elite Contracting, as well as overseeing the operations of Interior
Elite Excavating.
James is
an accomplished commercial project manager, boasting extensive experience in
overseeing projects ranging from small tenant improvements to large-scale
commercial renovations. With a meticulous approach to planning and execution, James
excels in motivating cross-functional teams and fostering seamless
collaboration to achieve project objectives efficiently, which has earned him
stellar reputation for reliability and excellence in the industry. His
commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated on industry best
practices underscores his dedication to delivering outstanding outcomes for
clients.
Outside of work, James enjoys snowboarding, gardening, and hiking. Notably, he was invited to the BC summer games for road biking, highlighting his athleticism and diverse interests.
Nathan is a seasoned professional with an extensive background in the Kamloops construction industry, boasting over a decade of experience. After obtaining his Bachelor of Chemical Biology at Thompson Rivers University, he returned to the construction industry where he established his own successful renovation company, honing his skills and building a reputation for delivering top-notch projects.
With a combination of hands-on experience, project management expertise, and a passion for both physical and mental challenges, Nathan brings a unique and dynamic skill set to Interior Elite Contracting, ensuring the success and seamless execution of every project under his guidance as the newest project manager on the Elite team.
Beyond the construction site, Nathan is a force to be reckoned with in the world of powerlifting. His dedication and strength have earned him several gold medals, showcasing his commitment to excellence and discipline in every aspect of his life. When he is finally ready to relax and recharge, Nathan enjoys immersing himself in the tranquility of the outdoors, often accompanied by his loyal companion, Hercules, the German Shepherd.
Originally born in Prince Rupert and a graduate of South Kamloops Secondary, Devin obtained a BA in Psychology from Thompson Rivers University before entering the construction industry.
With a decade of contracting experience in the flood and restoration sector, Devin progressed from technician to project manager, navigating various roles with finesse. His standout projects included leading the mitigation efforts for a major water loss at Cascades Casino, orchestrating a swift recovery despite a tight timeline and extensive damage. Also notable among his endeavors is a half million-dollar fire mitigation and repair project in Forest Grove, tackling intricate asbestos removals and rebuilding tasks in a challenging remote location. As project manager with Interior Elite Contracting, Devin brings his unique blend of knowledge and hands on skills and utilizes this experience to help clients realize their vision for their building and renovation projects.
Outside of work, Devin enjoys spending time with his wife and children, playing floor hockey and tabletop gaming, and occasionally indulging his passion for scuba diving honed during training with the United States Marines at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, CA.
Growing up in Kamloops, BC, Mike is a Kam High alumnus. A trained Red Seal Carpenter, Mike works as a Project Manager for Interior Elite Contracting. He’s particularly passionate about working closely with crew members, problem solving, and building relationships with homeowners.
An avid athlete, Mike grew up pole vaulting and participating in decathlons: a two-day athletic event involving 100-meter dash, long jump, javelin, discus, hurdles, and more. When he’s not busy at work, Mike enjoys hiking, backpacking, and going out and about with his two boys.
Kevin, originally from Ingersoll, Ontario, has proudly called British
Columbia home for over 28 years. After attending Fanshawe College of Applied
Arts and Technology in London, Ontario, he earned his Autocad certification in
1988 and also obtained a Level 2 Coaching certificate in Hockey.
With a decade of construction experience and extensive work with
architectural and engineering firms, Kevin has honed his skills in creating
practical and tailored designs for clients. He has served as lead designer on
numerous residential, commercial, hospitality, and industrial projects,
including timber construction, townhouses, apartments, and hotels. Notably,
Kevin contributed to the design team that won the 2014 SICA Award of Excellence
in Hospitality for the Holiday Inn Express Golden-Kicking Horse hotel and the
Intercontinental Hotels Group 2014 New Development Design Award.
Currently serving as a Senior Designer and
Architectural Drafter at Interior Elite Contracting, Kevin finds fulfillment in
bringing clients’ dream designs to life while ensuring compliance with zoning,
building codes, and permitting regulations. Outside of work, he and his wife
Judy enjoy the tranquility of mountain life at the lake, where they reside
full-time.
Growing up
in Kamloops, Siobhann obtained her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology from
TRU before pursuing safety certifications, including Level 3 First Aid
attendant, Certified Safety Trainer, and WHMIS Trainer, demonstrating her
dedication to preparedness and ongoing education. With experience spanning
agriculture and construction, she excels in establishing secure workplaces
regardless of environment or challenges. A notable achievement was her role as
Health and Safety Officer during the incident-free construction of a multimillion-dollar,
multi-story, steel-frame indoor cannabis facility, managing a large team with
exceptional leadership and risk management.
Transitioning into quality management and policy development as a Science Officer and Quality Manager for an outdoor cannabis facility, Siobhann implemented rigorous quality control measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and fostering a reputation for excellence. Now back at Interior Elite Contracting, she is excited to use the knowledge and experience she has gained to build on the existing safety and quality management protocols to ensure Elite continues to be an industry leader in safe, high quality construction projects.
Outside
of work, Siobhann enjoys hiking with her dog and playing strategy games with
her partner, demonstrating her love for challenges beyond the workplace.
Amanda, a native of Kamloops, holds dual diplomas in Interior Design specializing in commercial and residential design from the Centre for Art and Technology (CAT) in Kelowna, BC. With over 10 years of industry experience, she has honed her skills in project coordinating, construction management, and teaching design software like AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup. Currently serving as Elite Contracting’s Senior Interior Designer, Amanda is passionate about bringing clients’ visions to life through meticulous 3D modeling and personalized finish selections. Her expertise extends to lighting and glass, where she enjoys exploring innovative applications in interior spaces.
Amanda’s notable projects include designing a luxury summer home for a prominent hockey coach valued at over 10 million dollars, as well as several other million-dollar residences for hockey players throughout the Okanagan and Shuswap areas. She has also served as the design partner on several high-end custom home projects that have won gold in the CHBA Keystone awards with Interior Elite Contracting. Her commercial portfolio is equally as impressive and boasts projects like the design of the SASCU Communications Center and Aberdeen Mall Food Court, Grant Thornton office renovation, Earls commercial kitchen interior and exterior renovations and many others.
In her
downtime, Amanda enjoys dancing, gardening, and spending time with her beloved
Pomskys, as well as with her husband, family and friends.
Born in Vancouver, Brian was adopted at a young age by a loving family in Whitehorse. His formative years at Logan Lake Elementary and Senior Secondary paved the way for a diverse educational journey, culminating in a collection of degrees and certifications from Thompson Rivers University and the Justice Institute of BC. Despite his academic achievements, Brian treasures the relationships he’s cultivated with amazing people above all else.
As the seasoned Warehouse Manager at Interior Elite Contracting, Brian brings over 30 years of managerial expertise across various industries. From overseeing multimillion-dollar agricultural facilities to managing bustling health food stores, his leadership ensures tasks are executed safely and up to the company’s high standards. Certified as a Level 3 First Aider, Brian’s unwavering commitment to safety reflects the company’s values, earning him respect among colleagues and subcontractors.
When
not maintaining site safety and supporting crews, Brian enjoys running intense
battles of Dungeons and Dragons for several of his colleagues and friends. His
genuine interactions with coworkers and clients are the highlights of his day.
Off duty, Brian finds joy in spending quality time with loved ones and his
beloved pet, embracing life’s simple pleasures.
Born in Smith Falls, Ontario, Tracie has been a resident of British Columbia since 1997. Tracie is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, having received this designation from Alive Academy online. She is responsible for administrative tasks at Elite Contracting, as well as bookkeeping.
Tracie thrives off of the fast-paced environment that comes with working for a growing business, and enjoys tackling a wide variety of tasks. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, camping, watching her kids sporting events and attending Seattle Seahawks games with her husband.
Born in the picturesque town of Fort Nelson, BC, Skyela brings a unique background to Interior Elite Contracting. Skye is a certified nutritionist, demonstrating her commitment to health and well-being. Currently, she is further enhancing her expertise by working on her personal training certification, showcasing her dedication to continuous self-improvement.
In her role as the welcoming face of Interior Elite Contracting, Skye thrives on the dynamic nature of her job. Her favorite aspects include the camaraderie with her colleagues, the constant challenge that keeps her on her toes, and the opportunity for continuous learning. No two days are alike and she embraces each one with enthusiasm.
Outside of the office, our receptionist is a fitness enthusiast who finds joy in hitting the gym, skiing down slopes, and exploring nature through hikes and walks. Her love for reading adds a thoughtful dimension to her leisure time, making her a well-rounded individual with a passion for both physical and intellectual pursuits.
Shalena was born in Penticton and moved to Kamloops shortly after. She grew up around stock cars, drag boats, motorbikes and snowmobiles before her parents decided to slow things down and get heavily involved with Draft Horses and saddle horses. This new life involved sleigh rides at Lac le Jeune Resort, draft horse driving competitions, cart and halter classes. For 15 years their family and close friends planned and organized their own 7-10 day horse-drawn wagon and outrider trail rides as their summer holiday. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in General Biology from Thompson Rivers University.
Shalena handles the bookkeeping at Elite Contracting, numbers are her thing and she thrives in an organized environment. In her down time she enjoys the company of her 14 chickens, dog, cat and horse. She also enjoys doing many outdoor activities with her kids like camping, kayaking, hiking, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and horseback riding.
