In The Bathroom

  • Installation of hands free or lever style taps for easier operation
  • Installation of grab bars and reinforcements around toilets, tubs and sinks
  • Installation of adjustable hand held shower fixtures
  • Replacing traditional tub/shower units with stand up bath and shower units
  • Installation of raised toilets

In the Kitchen

  • Installation of hands free or lever style taps for easier operation
  • Alterations of sinks to allow use from a seated position

Throughout the home

    • Installation of hand rails
    • Conversion of cupboards and drawers with handles to “touch-and-release” style
    • Lowering of existing counters and cupboards
    • Installation of door locks and handles that are easier to operate
    • Adding additional light fixtures throughout the interior of the home and exterior entrances to allow better visibility
    • Moving and replacing light switches and electrical outlets to allow for easier access and operation.
    • Installation of motion activated lighting
  • Replacing carpets and slippery flooring with non-slip options to allow for use of walkers or wheelchairs
  • Widening of doorways either through installation of special hinges or physical widening of entrances
  • Installation of interior or exterior ramps to eliminate stairs

  • Installation of fire extinguishers, smoke detectors and Carbon Monoxide detectors
  • Hang TV mounts and other wall hardware
